Swedish Trojan Games carry them. Costs at this moment around 85 EUR without shipping (and the postage is high from Sweden), unless you combine shipping with other items.
Nevertheless, I found 2mm is the right size and given the amount of counters I clipped in the meantime (around 30.000) it has been worth it.

Also note, however, that the material the counters are made of matters as well. Some types of cardboard (e.g. an older CH module) seem to leave a kind of squarish rather than round profile, especially when viewed from the top. Yet another type of cardboard leaves a kind of a jagged profile from the bottom of the counter, rather than a nice round curve. (Enemy Action Ardennes by Compass Games used extremely hard and relatively thin material that actually reminds of plastic. The results are good but I was afraid the corner rounder would break. ) The choice of material does not seem to correlate with the company producing the ASL product. You also might have noticed a difference between MMP's BV 3e (kind of very "flat" counters, like a slab or a concrete tile) and other modules (which usually have kind of a soft, rounded, "pillow" edge). It rather seems the printer has, at the time of printing, various supply options and perhaps the die-cutting technique (including the pressure) makes a difference too.

I need one as I am in the process of buying all of Grognard Simulations Death Ride Kursk series and I want the counters to look 100%, I could do my usual thing of nail clippers and car full hands (the results are very good) but I just fancied doing it with the Oregon clipper, but at those prices no dice I thought no.

How much does this cost in UK?
Just enough to convert squares into octagons. Been there, done that. It's messy and ugly. :)

The Oregon clippers are the best IMHO ( I used a surgical scalpel prior to my clippers). A reliable and consistent method of trimming counters ( I use the pliers design). I'm not quite into 300,000 territory but probably into the 10,000+ mark and still going strong.

Wow, that is a lot. So let me know when your coming for a vacation and I'll get you one. I'm selling my house in the Socialist State of California and moving to the Free State of Arizona, Prescott area to be exact, in the next month or two. The elevation is about 5000 ft so it's not too hot in the summer and the winters are mild. If you want to come for a visit you are more than welcome.
35 c is baking hot to pasty faced Englanders, although maybe not this year...

I wonder the difference of a counter sheet edges at the start of a print run and the ones at the end. Do the dies get less sharp? How long do the dies last?

I noticed that the core color is brown on the current SK-3 counters vs. the normal gray.

That’s what I use at the moment and the results I get are awesome IMHO but I want something a bit more refined for Death Ride Kursk (it is going to cost me close on £750 for the whole lot, LXVIII Pz Korps & II SS Pz Korps) I want them to look REALLY good.

I actually use the smaller version. Just completed the French counters from Marshal Enterprise’s Leipzig game. I’ve had the clippers for at least 5 years, still work like a dream.

I looked at the Death Ride games, not sure they have the unit scale and map scale aligned. I suspect that there will be a lot of very large stacks. Plus the games are indeed, very expensive.

Likewise Paul, but the lot costs too much and I have not enough time to start getting into another game system , would love to get it but.....

Paul,

I war game on a very tight budget (a Colour Sergeants pension is not all that), so I was very very wary. However, I put aside a small amount Each month for a few months and sold off a few games that I have never played or have played once and will not go back to and pulled the trigger. Verdict, best move I ever made war game wise, map and unit scale seem to work, and it ‘feels right’ game play wise. I purchased DRK-Totenkopf along with the II SS Pz Korps Enhancement package and I have to admit I am really into the system, the games are large (I will never I think have the room to lay out the entire II SS Pz Korps sector let alone the entire 4th Panzer Armee front but who cares). The whole game just draws you in, end of the month DRK-Das Reich and then Xmas Iiebstandarte.

Pull the trigger, you know you want to.

Regards.

I mean really? How can you even reach...never mind, lol that is one crazy large map man...
And we loves it!!! I would love to be able to pull the trigger on the entire staff set, the system really has me hooked and I can see myself spending a lot of time with the 4th Pz Army and Heers Gruppe Sud trying to breach that final defence belt. Awesome system.

All the best

I used to paint 28mm Naps for money, did some very big commissions as I was up to connoisseur standard and could charge a fair bit per figure and my client base had enough dosh to chuck at their hobby (Regiment of Curassier 24 strong would set you back £250 all based and mark d for the Regiment you wanted portrayed) I had to stop when my eye sight started to go down hill about 4 years ago.
