German Fallschirmjägers have given up the fight in Rees - through the Neue Rheinstraße (New Rhine Street) they are led into captivity.

After the battle the conquerors of Rees draw rations and organize themselves for further advance.

In front of the destroyed church of Rees officers of the 51st Scottish Division hold a briefing.

Rees, destroyed by bombardment, became the center of intense fighting after the Rhine-crossing - the ruins offered excellent cover for the defenders.
