Is that the one where you roll a dice or something a prepare for an extra super explosive blast designed to destroy buildings ? Basically prepared for demolition twice and failed ? Maybe it wasn’t meant to be.

I think I have seen you trying on VASL.

Well, those bd53 buildings are made of cardboard.
So, by all means, you should have vaporized them with a Set DC (I seem to recall you even labelled it "Set DC BIG BOOOM" - just to add insult to the injury...).

However...

... probably some traitors or mischievous POW slave workers in the gunpowder plants have sabotaged your DCs.

Substituting the explosives with, erm, cardboard.

In Ortona, the Germans can buy a Set Building DC with FPP and bring the building down during the Refit phase. The only way the building doesn’t come down is if the DC malfunctions. Tuomo will be that guy.

Actually, we have seen a malfunction in playtesting.

Yes, you can.

Eventually, your crew may survive, which might even gain you Control of the Building.

As a last-ditch sleaze effort, I once drove a tank into a building in the hope of falling into the cellar (which worked), the crew to survive to take Control for the win (which, alas, didn't). But I still savour the look on my opponent's face when I explained this devillish ploy to him.

Actually, AFVs can't Rubble multistory stone buildings. Gotta be wooden and/or single-story.

Still. Maybe if I just do it and talk real fast and loud, my opponent won't catch on.

You are probably thinking HS32 "A Few Rounds".
This (standalone) scenario from the "Operation Veritable" HASL features some Sturmtigers of Sturmmörser Kompanie 1002.

In fact, this happened not far from where I live. Quite remarkable regarding the fact that only 18 Sturmmörser Tiger were produced in WW2, which were deployed in three companies (1001, 1002, 1003). In the beginning of October, I will visit the area together with Bruce Probst (from Australia, currently preparing for Arnhem Tournament) on a battlefield tour of the "Battle of the Hochwald Gap" for which I have won the local historian who did his PhD on the time of WW2 in the area. He also assisted in the TV-show on the "Battle of the Hochwald Gap" in the "Greatest Tank Battles" series. In another battlefield tour of the Wesel Brigdehead I did with him a number of years ago, I actually met the old veteran of the 116th Panzer-Division featuring in that show. I thank the Lord that I have not yet been living at that grim time.

Maybe before or after the battlefield tour, I can get in a game of HS32 with Bruce.
