Hi, is this hex in Manila map impassable?
See rule SF17.1.

17.1 PALM TREES: Palm trees are represented by two to four leafy symbols (EX: V7; 2H5) and are treated as Palm Trees (G4.) in all respects, as is the 4H50 swimming pool.

Also, please don't post Manila questions in this thread - even though people has done so before. It's better so start new threads instead. See post #59 above.

I think so. Hex 4H50 meets the B21.1 definition, "Any non-stream hex whose center dot is emplaced in a blue background is a Water Obstacle hex.". Specifically, it's a pond, B21.13.
ETA: I was wrong, as Klas posted below.

It is not a pond. See the rules quote of rule SF17.1 in post #61 above. The pool depiction itself has no effect at all...

The temptation to embellish the basic artwork was tremendous. One could add a cabana, some swim lanes, some walk-in steps in the corner, etc. Or add a microscopic tiny fleck to recreate the famous scene in Caddyshack.

Wiser heads prevailed.
did they?

Emphasis on Wiser. It's all relative. ;)

For Scenario SF 19, Fortress within a Fortress, can a unit get lost doing sewer movement in a 3 hex, sewer? IOW: the culvert? Thanks in advance.
