Chesty vs. Capt. Winters

Better call the MPs now!!

Need Intervention for Wurst Nightmare

Wurst Nightmare told me that he would be coming to Office Fest this year. He only lives about 1/2 hour away! He was going to bring his son and he and my son were going to play Starter Kit while the rest of us gamed on. Well, now Wurst is backing out. He told me his wife is going camping with the GirlsScouts and this gives him an opportunity to stay home and clean out the house of all the stuff she's collected over the years. I'm sorry but I can't reconcile that a gamer would rather clean house than play ASL all weekend.

I think Wurst might be afraid of losing his wurst if he doesn't clean the house. :surprise:

Look friends, we need a serious intervention here. Flood Wurst with emails, messages etc, that invite him to come play ASL at Office fest. Somebody challenge him to a match, we can't let this gamer succumb to domestic servitude. Help! Help now! :horse:

My house is full of 15-years of crap, kid's toys, stuffed animals, old rugs, etc.

It is a matter of all the planets aligning.

1. My wife is going out of town (something that rarely happens).

2. She will be highly pissed when she gets back.

3. I am leaving for a 2 week class 1 hour after she gets home ( I therefore get to miss the aftermath of my actions).

4. If she is still mad at me when I get home, I can play ASL at the home of whomever I end up staying with.

Well, you can see my friends, the depths that this poor soul has fallen to. He really needs our help. Serious medication may also be necessary (that I'm sure Dr. Glennbo could supply).

Help, Help now.

We've had about a dozen guys gaming on Friday night. Mark Pitcavage and Glennbo had people playtesting Mark's Italian pack and the upcoming ESG scenario pack. A couple of guys were eagerly playing some of the AoO scenarios, and there was even a few ASLSK playings going on for Blackcloud6 son. A lot of fun for all.

I'm just waiting for the damn clock to move so that I can get out of work and get back over there on Saturday afternoon.

Readalert33 is my son. I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to play Starter Kit scenarios with him. He learned a lot from you guys and is now hooked! it was great to see the Grognards taking the time with young new playe, explain the game and how to excute tactics.

I had a great time too. I thank my opponents, PJ Norton and Mark Pitcavage for the two exciting and interesting scenarios we played.

Thanks to PJ for holding OfficeFest. I had a great time meating other ASL'ers and had 3 fun games. 1 against Redalert. One against Dave "taking Bessarabia" which went down to the last Dr on the last turn. One against Glennbo a playtest. I learned alot about using armor. I had my first experiance of getting beat with VBF. :( ARRRGG!!. Pitman I hope I get to play you soon. I wanted to play you in one but it just didn't work out this time.

It was great to see Mark and pick his brains about ASL. I played four scenarios, all playtests. Won one. "All Roads Lead to Rome" from Few Returned was fun to play. Chris Garret beat me again. David Lamb beat me again. I ducked Mark. So my ASL "Hit List" remains stagnant. MLaPANZER played a great game, the side he played has never won...so he shouldn't feel bad. Thanks P.J.!

When is the next one?

Had a great time, but as with all enjoyable endevours, it ended too quickly! When are we going to do it again?

Except we didn't get to settle the Ancient Feud. Oh well, what's another few month amonst Rumanians and Hungarians, anyway?

Seriously, I had a blast and want to thank Easy for the enjoyable game of carnage that we had and also LaPanzer for the game of Liberating Bessarabia. Didn't think I get two AoO scenarios in this weekend.

I highly recommend both scenarios if you have the time to play biggies.
