Also in ASLSK (I presume A2.9 is ASL?)Set-up units can't over-stack A2.9.
Yes, that's what I understood. I just cannot find anything about this in the SK3 RBAh, oops. ASLSK, not too sure, but should be the same as ASL.
That indeed sounds to me like the most logical. As the RB does not mention it, use the same rules as on-boardSet up like you would in a normal hex. That's the basic rule.
This is correct for ASL proper. And in ASL proper, units may move in offboard hexes as if open ground. For ASLSK this is not spelled out AFAIK. The discussion on setup is in 3.3, and it is not particularly specific as to the mechanics of offboard in ASLSK. I recommend playing the ASL rules when the ASLSK rules don't seem to be complete, but other players may choose otherwise.Set up like you would in a normal hex. That's the basic rule.
This is what I would strongly advise as well.I recommend playing the ASL rules when the ASLSK rules don't seem to be complete...
A good general advice. I also recommend SK players to buy the pocket rulebook for these occasions. Makes you more familiar with many rules and encourages you to read more.I recommend playing the ASL rules when the ASLSK rules don't seem to be complete
Even better! I hope you try out a full ASL scenario soon. It's a much better game.just bought a 2nd hand 2nd edition RB with Binder for 15€ and started to read the rules. Fascinating!
There are no hexes Offboard. Stacking is Onboard only.Set up like you would in a normal hex. That's the basic rule.
How would you read A2.51 : "... Entrance of an offboard setup hex on the way to entering the mapboard always costs the standard Open Ground MF/MP rate per hex...", if there are no hexes offboard? There are no hexes Offboard. Stacking is Onboard only.
I believe he is taking about the SK rules. There it is not spelled out like that. How would you read A2.51 : "... Entrance of an offboard setup hex on the way to entering the mapboard always costs the standard Open Ground MF/MP rate per hex...", if there are no hexes offboard?
Try again.
