I posted this on Facebook but now when I have more time I'd like to elaborate this here as well.

Basically; Do the units on Z35.1 see Y32?31736

Here’s a more in-depth analysis of Row Z in the same factory (for clarity, Hex Z32 is rubbled in this example) together with a drawing (with the Factory seen from the side):

Hex Z35 is a Split-Level Factory (O5.7). That means it includes a Cellar, ground level (0), Level 1, Level 2, and a Level 2.5 Rooftop Location.
Hex Z34 is Factory Debris (O5.41) (+1 TEM and +1 Hindrance) and also includes a Rooftop Location at Level 1.5.. Debris is considered 0.5 levels high.
Hex Z33 is Factory Debris with a Rooftop.
Hex Z32 is Rubble (in this example — not shown in the photo). Rubble is also 0.5 levels high. Note: when a hex is rubbled, walls are considered gone.

Now, let’s place a unit on Z35.1 (Level 1). Is there LOS to:
  1. Z34.0?
  2. Z33.0?
  3. Z32?
  4. Z33?
I’d say yes to all of these without hesitation.

However, the rules regarding Split-Level Factories don’t really explain LOS within the same factory, which leaves a few question marks. That said, it seems pretty clear that a unit on Level 1 would have LOS over both Debris and Rubble within the same Factory — especially since both are only 0.5 levels high.
Of course, I’m not 100% sure—that’s why I’m bringing it up.

If you don't agree I'd like to hear why. 🤗

I would say that the unit in Z35 can see all of the ground level locations but not anything on the rooftops.
