The Northern Ohio Wargaming Society (NOWS) will hold a small (~60) game convention in Sheffield Lake, Oh.
Approximately, 30 miles west of Cleveland on Rt 6.
NOWSCON will be held Friday, Sept 23 thru Sunday, Sept 25.
I will be running scenarios from ASLSK #1:
Friday - 7pm
Saturday - 9am & 7pm
Sunday - 9am

If you bring your own games, there is extra-space for unscheduled gaming.

NOWSCON's 1992 Golden Pegasus Award was for Advanced Squad Leader. Each year the Golden Pegasus was for a different game, IIRC.

Fish took first place ( I am shocked ), I placed second and Dave Ginnard took third. I've never been a big trophy case guy but that trophy sits on my gaming stand in my bedroom. Not out of vanity but I don't want to break Pegasus' wing through careless storage.

I was GM for ASLSK#1, S1, Retaking Vierville at NOWSCON.
Interest was light, one player on Saturday and one on Sunday.
One of the players was into ASL 20 years ago, is recently retired and relocated to my area.
It appears that he is interested in playing ASL again.
Unfortunately, he has a conflict and will not be able to attend ASLOK this year.
