Hi
i'm a bit confused with night LV
some ex:
unita A and B are both inside the NVR and/or illuminated area:
A level 0 unit fire to B level 0 open ground: +1 LV
A level 0 " " level 0 wood/building/orchard: TEM but no LV
A level 1 " " level 0/1 building 2 story: DRM + LV
A level 1 " " level 0/1/2 building multy story : DRM only
A level 0 " " level 2 open ground : or +1 LV or +1 Height advantage
A level 0 " " level 2 wood/building/orchard : only TEM
A level 0 " " level 2 trench/fox : tem + LV
i'm right?
thanks in advance
bye

Correct so far, although orchard has no TEM. So orchard is a very bad place to be in at night - worse than OG.

A level 1 " " level 0/1 building 2 story: DRM + LV
A level 1 " " level 0/1/2 building multy story : DRM only
Correct.

A level 0 " " level 2 open ground : or +1 LV or +1 Height advantage
Here, it will be +1 HA only - never LV.

A level 0 " " level 2 wood/building/orchard : only TEM
Correct

A level 0 " " level 2 trench/fox : tem + LV
No LV here.

i'm right?
Mostly, with one error. You seem to think that the LV can apply vs a unit that is on a higher level OG hex, but that is not the case. Since the base level of the hex itself is higher than the firer, the LV is NA.

The relevant sentence is (E1.7): "However, the +1 Night LV DRM is never applicable ... if the target hex contains any terrain (inclusive of hills/higher ground level) whose topmost height is at least a full level higher than the firer". The topmost height of the level 2 OG is of course level 2, which is at least a full level higher than the level 0 firer.

You can think of it this way: If the firer can look up (at least one full level) and see something in the target hex, then the +1 LV is NA.
