Gents,

I'd like to run another tourney in this section, but will probably hold off until the fall. If one is run what title would you like to see used?

A REN tourney would be excellent.

It would force me to figure out the whole PBEM system alot sooner. :shy:

Well, so far the overwhelming response is for REN - glad to see that. What would be a good start date for people? Assuming we use stock scenarios it doesn't take too much effort for me to run a tourney, but I want to get maximum participation too. Feedback welcome.

Oh, and there will be a free game up for grabs in this tourney, as with all that I run.

Tell your friends!

OK, REN it is without a doubt then.

The ACW tourney is due to end mid-July. so why don't we aim to start sometime around then? Will give plenty of time for people to get the game and get used to it before we kick off. Also time to clear your plate a bit if you have a lot of games going.

Feel free to suggest scenarios!

Nice way of "Splitting the Vote" for Nappy. Cant we have both or have HPS given up on the old titles and just promote the new ones?

I don't think people can play more than one tournament at a time, and this has nothing to do with HPS. After all, REN has 68% of the vote, I know I voted for it.

Ren? A game that stops way before 1793, 1805? Really?

I know it's based on the Nap engine, but it really needs its own place, not under the Napoleonic umbrella.

Count me out, don't own it.

Point is Lord "V" we didn't get a vote for Nappy or REM or what ever the group is, the Nappy vote was split between four games.
I would go for Total War if I wanted to play an approx. era to REM.
If this is the "Nappy" Battles that's what it is, I got a feeling this is "spin". Why not a REM Forum or will "Zulu" wars shortly make an apperance here.
Put out another Nappy game and promote that !

1) There's limited traffic here, not enough to support a REN ladder on its own.

2) I'm one of only two volunteers running this section and have been since the beginning. Want more say so in how things are done? Step up to the plate and help run things. :)

3) We are currently running a Nap tourney, based on player vote. It has been dragging for months and seen many people drop between the various rounds. Having something new obviously interests many people.

If the M&P series gets popular enough the staff will most likely setup a separate section for it - assuming there is ladder admins to run it. Until such time it will be sharing space here with the Nap games.

Regards,
Rich
