Newbie LOS question

Hi Guys,

quick LOS question for a game I'm in.

Squad in building on 1st level, five open ground level hexes, one hex of trees (on ground level), and then 9 open ground level hexes to a squad - there is LOS in both directions?

Are there any newbie articles anywhere on LOS?

There's no LOS (which means in both directions, since LOS is reciprocal) because you need to be higher than an obstacle to see beyond it to a lower level. You are on Level 1, the obstacle reaches up to Level 1, so you will not be able to see anything at Level 0 or lower after your LOS hits the obstacle.

Don't worry. They can't hide behind those trees forever.

Try putting you eye to the level of a table top and seeing what you can see below that level in a large room. This helped me understand the concept of hights blocking LOS.
