In the DC/FT article in VFTT105, I agree with most of it but the author missed one good tactic of using vehicle bypass sleeze on the target killstack makes DC placement much easier. That's of course if you have a tank, a nice big armored one. But then Lewonski rolled snakes and burned my tank. So yeah, DCs suck.
