William Shatner was not offered a role in the movie and has expressed some disappointment with this situation. Leonard Nemoy will be in the movie.

Of course, so did Spock, but hey, they found a way around that so....

But if I had to choose, well, Spock it is...

With both Scotty and McCoy dead, well, it won't be long before they're all no longer in play...
