The program doesn't include Ordnance Note D for the British Ordnance 1. OML 2-in. Mortars. It only includes Notes A, N, and P.
It looks like Note D was added later at some point (I was working from tables in the 1st Edition) - I'll add this in for the next release. In the meantime, you can fix it up yourself by editing $/data/ordnance/british.json (the first entry), then restarting the program.

Is there a prebuilt MAC version at this point?

Thanks!

I don't have a Mac (and likely never will :-/), so I can't create a build myself. It's relatively easy to do, so if someone technical does it, I'll make that build available. Otherwise, you'll have to run the EXE in Wine, or Parallels, or Docker (discussed elsewhere on this thread).

Thank you for your development. Now we are trying to use this software in our circle.
BTW, would you have the plan for working the template with vassal 3.5.3 to 3.5.5 and vasl 6.6.2 ?

I can't seem to get the templates to "find" the counters for non-MMP. For instance, Thai in BFP B&J. I don't much about HTML or VASL ... just a user.

Version v1.6 of vasl-templates has been released here.

Please check the release notes, since there are a few things to consider.

Main changes:
  • Added support for VASL 3.5.5 and VASL 6.6.2.
  • Added the Australian nationality.
  • Made the British vehicles/ordnance available to the ANZAC nationality.
  • Added Note D to the British OML 2-in. Mortars.
  • Fixed the URL's for Chapter H note images for derived nationalities.

VASSAL installation points to /vassal-3.5.5 folder.
VASL points to vasl.6.6.2.vmod
Extensions points to VASL/vasl-6.6.2.vmod (which contains the BFPv5.00.vmdx
Boards points to VASL/boards

Java points to: Java/jre1.8.0_291/bin/java.exe
Web driver points to chromedriver.exe

Chater H notes points to chapter-h-placeholders

I still get the VASSAL shim error that was not present on prior version of VASSAL. I still have not configured vasl-templates to find the BFP extension. I must be doing something wrong. Sorry. Clearly and ID-10-T error on my end.

Extensions points to VASL/vasl-6.6.2.vmod (which contains the BFPv5.00.vmdx
vasl-6.6.2.vmod is a file, so it can't "contain" the BFPv5.00.vmdx extension file. The "extensions" setting should be the directory that contains the BFPv5.00.vmdx file.

I still get the VASSAL shim error that was not present on prior version of VASSAL.
You're running an old version of Java that VASSAL no longer works with. Clear this setting in vasl-templates, and it will use the Java that comes with VASSAL.

Progress. I have now pointed the JAVA to the one inside of the VASSAL folder. Learning.

Misspoke about the extensions. The BFP extension is in the VASL/Extensions folder.

but still not getting the BFP counters ... not for the Thai anyway. Also not getting the French 60mm mortar in blue. Do see the Brit colored (a) 60mm MTR.

Ah, I see you're using the v5.00 version of the extension. Try the v4.03 version. You can still use v5.00 when playing games, this is just for setting up labels for the scenario.

I put v4.03 back in the folder. VASL reported a conflict. I removed v5.00 and restarted templates, vassal, and vasl.

Still no Thai. I am doing something wrong.

These are my settings, isnt it the .vmod file?
These settings look OK. A .vmod file is actually just a ZIP file, so copy it somewhere, change the extension to .zip, then double-click on it to see what's inside. You should see a file called buildFile in there.

This is the same file you use to play games with? It's worked before?
