Now that TOTR has reintroduced the BLUE SS counters I wonder if we could get some Blus SS leaders as well. We had the black ones from Cross of Iron. maybe bring them back along with all the original Squad leader modules leaders. It's feasible as MMP released counters in Festung Budapest with unit designations and also the demo charge carrying leaders in Croix De Guerre. Also I'm looking for a leader counter from COI, a Russian 6+1 named Colesteve. anyone want to send me it for the price of a stamp? I like to keep track of leader performances when I play solitaire. Hell while we are at it lets introduce SS vehicles too!!! Thoughts? I know this could cause a storage nightmare for some but it would be cool to see. This is not an endorsement of the SS of course just a suggestion.

There are some differences....rules wise...
A25.11:
"SS will not surrender to Russians via the RtPh method (20.21), do not become Disrupted while opposing Russians, and may perform Massacre (20.4)."

Black SS seemed a bit superfluous to me. They're just another class of the German Nationality and best to keep them in the German color scheme. Makes life easier without doubling up the German AVF/Vehicles/Ordnance. As far as leaders go, it's easy enough to make a note of which is which if needed.

Heat of Battle, a third party publisher had previously produced an Arnhem module God Save the King which was used as the framework of A Bridge too Far, also had produced two products which featured the Waffen SS that included a white-on-black SS countermix. HoB also produced Blood Reef Tarawa, which MMP was in the process of producing a revised edition under the AH name, when the Fall of the House of Usher Avalon occurred.
