There still seems to be some confusion with the avatars as I am getting email about it.
1. Go to the User CP (there is a link on this page).
2. Now go to "Edit Avatar."
3. You will now be presented with a bunch of different avatars. Select the one you want and click "save."
You will notice that the avatars are now divided by nation. The nations can be selected from the dropdown menu. Some of the nations have a lot of avatars, and may have multiple pages. There is a link to surf through the pages at the bottom.
We are still in need of avatars for many nations. Some of these are difficult for us to find, so if you have good images please email them to us.
