Naval Thunder: Battleship Row brings exciting World War 2 naval miniatures gaming to your tabletop! Whether you are a fan of majestic battleships or powerful carriers, Naval Thunder: Battleship Row gives you the opportunity to recreate the famous naval battles of the Second World War, or to create your own to find out what could have happened if things had gone just a little differently.

Naval Thunder is designed to be fast paced, easy to learn, and a lot of fun. Extensive research to ensure the rules produce historically congruent battle outcomes is integrated into the rules “behind the scenes”. We do the work, so you don't have to!

Instead of spending a lot of time doing math or checking tables, you are free to focus on commanding your fleet and wrestling with the same kinds of tactical decisions the historical admirals faced in battle.

Naval Thunder: Battleship Row includes complete data cards for 92 classes of ships representing every major combatant of the U.S. and Japanese fleets. Aircraft and submarine rules are seamlessly integrated with the surface combat rules so you can recreate the entire battlespace. In addition, Naval Thunder: Battleship Row includes a robust modular optional rule system that allows you to tailor the pace of the game and level of detail to your individual preference.

Just a few examples of the 27 optional rules include:

- Limited ammunition
- Night battles
- Crew quality modifiers
- Land based aircraft
- Faulty U.S. magnetic torpedo exploders
- Declining quality of Japanese damage control
- Reconnaissance aircraft
- Shortcuts for running large numbers of destroyers

. . . and much more!

Players can look forward to ongoing support for all our Naval Thunder products, and the release of Naval Thunder: Bitter Rivals this fall providing the data cards and extra rules needed to recreate the naval war in the Atlantic and Mediterranean theaters, as well as a host of new scenarios.

Interesting. I d-loaded the sample file; it gives some good info. Are there any examples of play or AARs available?

I have the dreadnought rules, and they seem to play fast (but then everything is faster than Fear God and Dread Nought).
