Situation: A prior attack left residual fire power while in bypass. Later in the movement phase, another unit engages in bypass movement in the same hexside and then traverses another hexside requiring another MP expenditure. The vulnerable infantry are on a motorcyle but could be PRC as well.

Rule A8.2 -- thereafter any unit entering or expending MF or MP in the location is attacked ... :!:

Question: Is the vulnerable unit attacked with each separate and distinct MP or MF expenditure? This would apply to infantry in 3 hexside bypass or vulnerable PRC in a venhicular bypass situation involving two or more hexsides. :?:

Thanks for the help.

Yes.

Remember bypass doesn't create an additional location. So any residual in the hex will attack anyone expending movement in bypass - on ANY hexside.

No, a unit is normally only attacked once per location for residual fire attacks. There are a couple of exceptions:
1) If the unit becomes more vulnerable (e.g. if a formerly CE passenger unloads)
2) If the amount of residual has increased since the initial residual firepower attack

Brian is correct. Residual only attacks once per location (in this case, once in the hex) unless the residual has increased in strength, or the unit is subject to more negative / less positive DRMs.
