I played "White Tigers" the other day and this one has five radioless Japanese tanks jukin' and jiven' through rather mixed terrain with an EC of mud. A couple of questions came up that we could not readily find the answer for.

Situation #1: Assuming platoon movement of two AFV's one of which enters a clear terrain hex but then due to the secret bog die roll then bogs. Would a yahtzee bog the other tank of this platoon that did not enter a clear terrain hex?

Situation #2: Assuming platoon movement of two AFV's which have already traveled seven hexes through non-clear terrain and then one of which enters a clear terrain hex but due to the secret bog die roll should bog after moving one hex (die roll is one). Would that mean the platoon would bog seven hexes earlier in non-clear terrain or only in the first clear terrain where mud is present prompting the bog die roll?

Situation #3: Can two radioless AFV's form a platoon at the beginning of the movement phase if after moving separately in the previous turn one remained motion while the other stopped but both were adjacent to each other?

No, you only roll for Random Selection between vehicles actually subject to Bog.

D14.21:
"...If Bog/Immobilization occurs, Random Selection is then used—but only among the AFV that would normally have been Bogged/Immobilized by that Final DR (with different DRM potentially applying to different AFV)...."

Situation #2: Assuming platoon movement of two AFV's which have already traveled seven hexes through non-clear terrain and then one of which enters a clear terrain hex but due to the secret bog die roll should bog after moving one hex (die roll is one). You only count the hexes where the Bog can actually occur - in this case the 7th hex.

D8.23:
"...if the dr was a 2, the opponent must declare the vehicle bogged in the second hex (/Bypassed hexside) moved into during that MPh which can cause such a Bog result...."

Situation #3: Can two radioless AFV's form a platoon at the beginning of the movement phase if after moving separately in the previous turn one remained motion while the other stopped but both were adjacent to each other?
No, a platoon must always share the same Motion status.

D14.21, third bullet:
"Share the same Stopped/Non-Stopped/Motion status (including Forward/Reverse Movement) with all other platoon members."

Tak sa mycket, Klas! This is how we played these situations but was looking for a second opinion to confirm our ASLRB understanding. Ray
