I made a cursory search for the answer in this forum, and didn't find the answer to the following:

Regarding rule C11.5, a mortar secures a non-CH vs an ATG, emplaced in a woods hex, via the CA of the ATG. What are DRM used for resolution on the IFT:

1) -1 for woods/airburst (how my opponent played)
2) +1 for Indirect Fire, -1 for airburst for net 0 (this is how i'm reading the rule)
3) +2 for gun shield, -1 airburst, net +1
4) Other

Thanks,
fzmann

You are right, +1(reduced gunshield for indirect) and -1 airburst for a net +0
I hope your opponent rolled a bad result.

With a mortar (Area Target Type) you get your choice of TEM or gunshield on the effects DR. Since the gun in emplaced, the TEM would be +2 emplacement, -1 airburst, for a net +1. The alternate would be +1 gunshield (there's recent Q&A on the matter), -1 airburst. I know which one I'm choosing.

And note that snakes generate a CH which automatically destroys the Gun... (C11.4).
