From the Panzer Command forums, in a conversation regarding the Marder's main armament - a tangent about Russian equipment:

It's to note that you did catch that it was the F22 L51.5 used in these and not the ZiS-3 L42. There is an error in Wikipedia which says the ZiS-3 is L51.5. As such many other games continue this error.
Um. Huh?

Doesn't that presuppose that "many other games" do their research on Wikipedia?

Wouldn't be the first time Wikipedia got something wrong. Just don't use their site as gospel.

All of these games are older than that article on Wikipedia.

I won't assume the original claim is true in the first place. There were three Marder variants and I'm sure they mounted whatever gun they came across.

Probably the reason Wikipedia is wrong is that they copied the info from the Russian Battlefield site which is also wrong.
