I had no post but I should be given at least 24 hours before you blatantly use a Psycho/Glennbo poop joke!
You see, that's where you and I differ. I say "#2" and you. . . you use that other word.

P.S. thanks for the link to the smilie; when I 'quote' you, the link shows up!

The link is to my photobucket album where I saved a bunch of smilies. I got them from some websites I found by searching for "smilies."

I'll go ahead and clear up all this nonsense.

Soon after that dirtbag Nixon betrayed me I spent months just hitchhiking across the country. One day this big dude in a Phillies jersey pulled over to give me a lift. Holy crap! It was Curt Schilling. We chatted during the trip and he offered me a job. I was to handle all the little jobs - go get him a burger, open his beers (for a big strong dude he has really soft hands), make prank calls to Ray Tapio in the middle of the night, buy his pornography, spit on bums begging for money, download Swedish snuff films - that he didn't have time to worry about. I even tried to teach him to throw a knuckleball... what a waste of time that was. I was able to teach him how to throw a splitter which has become his "out" pitch.

He was making a nice chunk of change playing baseball but he was racking up selling bootleg DVDs on the street and needed to hide where all the cash was coming from. I told him about the ASL deal and he thought it was the perfect opportunity. Keith was his pool boy and Brian was just some dude that came to the door selling encyclopedias. Perry was a bartender and always seemed to have good advice so I suggested he hire him for rules questions.

Everything was going great until Nixon crashed Curt's birthday party and ate the last piece of cake! I lost it and trashed Curt's condo so he fired me.

Sounds like the "Melvin and Howard" movie, about the man who had Howard Hughes will.

Please don't make nationality an issue on this forum. You've mentioned his "Canadian buddies" now in several threads and frankly, I don't see what anyone's nationality has to do with anything. If you can't make an argument on its own merits, I'd suggest dragging nationality in is a pretty cheap stunt. There are plenty of Canadians not getting involved on this one, and I can assure you there is no Canadian conspiracy to disrupt the forum, unless you wish to prove otherwise.

There's nothing wrong with some friendly rivalry or banter (I won't mention your worthless Yankee pesos if you don't ;) ) but I'd frankly rather not be lumped into any contentious debate simply because of where I was born or where I live. Substitute "Jew" for Canadian, and there would be calls for your head, and rightly so.

You're doing fine by sticking to the facts and pinning him with specific questions; don't blow it now.
Agreed. We shouldn't blame Canada for Dorosh. :D

I am teaching an officer of the Canadian Army who is posted to the unit I am currently teaching in Germany.

He is of the opinion that "some Canadians who are from the provence of "Manitoba" don't need to be explained about.... They just need to be ignored".

His words, not mine.

Sounds like every country has their own Texas.

Hold on thar, them's fightin' words:mad:

Alberta (Portal, Dorosh,Toxic etal) is Canada's 'Texas'. Oil, cattle, and Conservatives Darth Spuds' would feel right at home:halo:

Manitoba(McLeod, Bird, Dionne et al) is Canada's gateway to the west God's Country is how Manitoba is translated from the Cree Indian language, mid-west values, laid back but torn between Conservatives and Socialists politically. We get along fine with the mid-westerners when we go south into the Dakotas, Minnesota, Iowa etc to play ASL, drink beer and eat that fine jerky that Brother Darrell brings along;)

I get the feeling that guy Kevin is talking to is from Alberta:(

that is incorrect, every country has it's Alberta, Texans try to imitate us, and aren't bad, just don't have it down pat, though the imitation is a nice compliment. :headbang:

One of my best friends in the Army was from Winnipeg; it was embarrassing to have to remind him that Winnipeg is so poor they only have two streets there - Portage and Main - and both of them are on the wrong side of the tracks...

But we love them anyway. Ever since the Jets left, they have a proper appreciation of their place in the world.

Any any city that can produce fine fighting regiments like The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders and...what was that other one again? Little Black something or other?

Are there even enough people living in Canada to put in one regiment? I thought that was the reaon all the hockey teams are moving to The States, because once you put all the players on the teams, there's not enough left over to watch?????

Just because Portal is keeping score!

I think we may have permanently hijacked this thread. What a shame.

BTW Portal: In case you are wondering, Chas Argent's latest avatart is Rebecca Romijn. (How do I do it? I'll never tell :p its NOT pattern recognition!)

And yes... he could have chosen a better picture of her.

Where Rebecca Romijn is concerned that's kind of like, after your 150mm OBA gets a CH on guys in a stone building and you roll a 3 on the IFT DR, saying, "Dang, I could have rolled better."
