Can/must an infantry SQ locked in melee w enemy AFV shoot on IFT if a enemy DC hero charges into the hex?

Can/must an infantry SQ locked in melee w enemy AFV shoot on IFT if a enemy DC hero charges into the hex?

If the unit is already in Locked in Melee, NO. If the unit is only in CC (only marked as such or is in the same hex as an enemy unit but not marked with a CC counter), it is limited by Mandatory Target Selection Limits (A7.212) and may fire at the DC hero once it enters the hex.
