1. Record your CM movie with FRAPS. Free copy here http://www.fraps.com/
Fraps (the free version) records 30 seconds worth and saves it in the Fraps directory. The 30 second limit is no problem because with Windows Movie Maker you can string clips together and make a longer movie. My movie was two 30 second clips put together.

2. As recorded by FRAPS, the movie is too large a file to be uploaded to Youtube as is. So you must compress it using Windows Movie Maker, included with XP.

This is the way to do it as Peek explained it to me:

Yeah, as produced by FRAPS the files are too big to upload to YouTube. You
need to compress them first, I recommend using Windows MovieMaker as this
comes free with windows (Well XP anyway, I presume also with Vista). Just
open Moviemaker, its in the start menu its under Accessories. Then import
the movie file that was produced by Fraps. Drag it from the imported files
box onto the timeline that's on the bottom. You can import as many files as
you like and string them together to make a longer movie.. You can also
import music mp3s and add them to the timeline if you like. When you are
done, select save movie from the menu and it will save it as a WMV file.
This will be much smaller than the original, mine came out around 4 MB for
30 second videos.

3. Get a youtube account, upload your brand new video and post the link here, and tell everyone to get their popcorn!
