@Danno ,

We are at 13 days out today from Round 1. Is there any news on how the matchups will be done, how opponents will be identified to each other for each round, what will be the reporting procedure for each round, what will be the scenario selection procedure for each round, what will be the time cutoffs for each round to be completed by or face adjudication, what procedures will be used for unresolved rules contentions during a round, etc, ad nauseum?

I have received no information emails since Dave Mareske sent his reply that he received my entry fee on Feb 2nd, 2021.

Thanks for organizing this event for all of us players!

:)

Any information on when the 2021 scenario pack will be available to non-attendees?
Hi Paul,

We have six scenarios in the pack this year. It is the three-player pack. All scenarios are three player games. Still working with the printer...but should be available in May. Possibly earlier.

Okay, thanks. I think the opportunities for three-player scenarios come up more often than folks anticipate, so having a set to chose from will be a welcome addition to the mix. Are they all WWII actions?

Yes. All WWII. Although one is ahistorical action in Congo (Africa) 1941. The others are three on the East Front and two battle of the bulge. All are 1944.

I agree we need more three player game official with different VC for all three players and three player turn record charts. There are only 12 in the system right now. These six will make 18.

Round 1 games matched. Some fun scenarios in play.
Good luck with your tournament. Wish I could attend but the time difference makes it hard for me. -- jim

John Garlic won against Paul Works in a match of AP 161 ANZAC Boys as the Germans. Becoming the 2021 March Madness ASL Champion. Paul takes second place.

Dave Mareske won against Dennis Dowd as the ANZACs in ANZAC Boys taking third place. Dennis takes fourth place.

My thanks to all who braved the new world of technology to play in the virtual tournament. Congrats to John!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in person March 18-20, 2022.
