Regardless it has been very quiet.
Splendid idea!I'm sure someone can start an SS counter thread or Critical Hit sucks thread to generate some noise lol.
LOL! The SS suck no matter what color they are, they got what they deserved at the end of the war.Splendid idea!
Let's elaborate - how about this one:
The "MMP should make black SS counters (only) canon and add precision dice to modules while mandating chess clock use to speed up play, all the while the IFT be dropped and the IIFT (without CTC) being defined as standard - and for good measure they should "proudly produce" in China to make amends for the horrific shipment costs from the US to Europe which they are responsible for" thead...

True story (or as we used to say in the Navy "a no-shitter"): About 15 years ago I was playing a local Atlanta friend at his house. He chewed snuff...so he had a spit cup in addition to his identical dice cup. In the heat of battle he grabbed the wrong cup. Let's just say I'm glad we were using his dice...Come on!!! What kind of sick #@$% doesn't love the gentle tinkle of dice in drinking glasses???
Less fillingSplendid idea!

This is generally not an issue when using dice towers, although I'm sure that humans being humans, someone will prove me wrong. Lol.
When I was (much) younger, we used to play a lot of backgammon. We used cups for the dice, and game play was often done while drinking adult beverages. Every now and then, someone would drop their dice in their drink, or roll their drink instead of the dice. The odds of that happening increased as the evening wore on.True story (or as we used to say in the Navy "a no-shitter"): About 15 years ago I was playing a local Atlanta friend at his house. And always appreciate those who know the difference.Always love a no shitter as opposed to scuttlebutt.
Kind of sounds like drinking games in college. When I was (much) younger, we used to play a lot of backgammon. We used cups for the dice, and game play was often done while drinking adult beverages. Every now and then, someone would drop their dice in their drink, or roll their drink instead of the dice. The odds of that happening increased as the evening wore on.
I love my custom made, Steve Pleva dice tower, had it for around 20 years now and still going strong.Come on!!! What kind of sick #@$% doesn't love the gentle tinkle of dice in drinking glasses???
I too have a Pleva tower and looked down on glass rollers, but I finally lost patience with dice jumping out of the tower box and switched to glass. Now my dice never spill onto the table. Same data, but I drew different conclusions from my Yankee colleagues :- ).Several used to use glasses but switched over time.
