More info will follow soon, but it is shaping up to be the last weekend in July 2019 (26 to 28 July) and the location would be Singapore which has a great airport and would minimize the number of connecting flights for most people. Good beers, food and hotels are available and of course there are some budget options for those who would like to keep their costs reasonable.

It would be a continuation of the style that George started and Alan ran for the past couple of times. Likely to see returning champions from prior years and maybe APAC's own GROFAZ. Still working on a few things, but we plan feature a 'team concept' that would group players of varying skills into teams which will hopefully encourage camaraderie while allowing everyone a chance to win along with their team.

4-5 rounds of games with plenty of time for people to catch a late afternoon or evening flight back on Sunday night. :)

So we are looking to introduce a Team Play concept this year.

All participants will be divided up into 4 (or more) groups before the Tournament.

The results in the first 4 rounds (ie Friday July 26 and Sat July 27) will determine the individual champ.

The results in these 4 rounds will also add up to Team results. Round 5 on Sunday will then be the round where Teams work collectively (thru adding up their individual win-loss in Round 5) to extend their lead or to make up for lost grounds.

This way we hope to promote camaraderie and folks who don't do so well individually might still walk off with a Team championship.

Apparently drugs are a bit easier to come by in Hong Kong as opposed to Singapore. How do you keep the energy up there Mr. HKWG?
