MacOS Big Sur and VASL menu high-light

Does anyone know (before I spend time trying to figure this out) why the highlight for VASL became much more difficult to read, and how to change it?

I don't have that issue, but then, I am using Windows and not a MacOS. Or maybe it has to do with JAVA?

If this is not limited to VASL, then my guess would be that you could somehow adjust it in your template settings.

Michael, I vaguely recall something about this from before Christmas. I think it is some sort of Mac graphics setting. You might look at some other GS VASL threads. I would say search for it but I never find anything with GS search.

You're seeing this bug in Java: https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8251377

They claim to have fixed this for Java 16, which they say will be released mid-March.
