MAC.OS - Installed 3.4. VASSAL which blocks my 3.2.17 and 6.5.0 Version

I was having issues with downloading another game from anther company so I downloaded VASSAL 3.4 and I hit replace instead of Keep Both. This has caused me to be able to open other games, but I cannot open VASL. I tried downloading VASSAL 3.2.17 but I cannot get that to work.

I am using the MAC.OS 10.15.7 version.

Please note I have a very hard time understanding these issues so please speak any options in Kindergarten for me.

Can you find VASSAL3.2.17 on the VASSAL website. What happens when you try to download it?

i just worked with a friend who has some knowledge of MAC. I would up creating a separate VASSAL icon for 3.2.17.

To answer your question - I found 3.2.17 in the archive for MAC OS and was able to download it into my Downloads. However, the 3.4.3 seemed to override the 3.2.17 and I could not get both to work, only the 3.4.3.

However with separate icon for the 3.2.17 I can get VASL 6.5 to work. Basically the separate icon is listed a VASL 3.2.17 instead of VASSAL.

Yes, that is how it should work. If you select the custom option when installing VASSAL you can have multiple versions of VASSAL installed, each one needs a separate window to open. In my experience, all of the VASL mods (again you can have multiple, say 6.5.1 and 6.6.0) will show up in all of the VASSAL windows but will only work from the correct window. So VASL6.5.1 will show up in the VASSAL3.2.17 and the VASSAL3.4.2 window but will only work in the VASSAL3.2.17 window.
