About to start a scenario from BFP's Operation Cobra that has both light bocage and airplanes.

The rules state the light bocage doesn't create blind hexes from higher level locations (easy enough, it's just a wall with a serious attitude problem).

Elsewhere it says that *aerial* LOS is blocked in the hex formed by the bocage hexside itself (not the weird one-hex-farther-back thing like looking over it from the 2nd floor of a building).

It'll be an interesting scenario either way (who doesn't like Panthers vs rocket-firing Thunderbolts? :), but the LOS thing is kind of important.

Beyond the Beachhead HBR said:
3.1 LOS: Light Bocage affects LOS as a ½ Level Obstacle and does not create any blind hexes. LOS along a hexspine exists just like a Wall/Hedge but with Bocage TEM.
I don't see any mention of aerial LOS at all in the BtB HBRs.

It's discussed in the Fighting In the Bocage article by Chas on page 14 in Operation Cobra.

First, that's not a rule. Second, you refer to the section "AERIAL LOS" on the first column of page 14? That's regular bocage. Light bocage begins on column 2 on p. 14. I don't see any discussion or examples with aircraft in the light bocage section.
