Do we have a breakdown of the included scenarios yet? Location, date, nationalities? Already pre-ordered and looking forward to this one.

Excellent, I love beach landings.

There is a Japanese beach landing v Thais in "Blood and Jungle", is yours a different landing or a different 'take'?

Thanks

Sorry, if you don't provide the name / reference of the scenario, it's pretty difficult for me to answer to this question....

Plus I can't remember any Japanese landing vs Thai in B&J....

Cheers,

X

Did LFT get permission to use MMP maps as the base for their enhanced versions?

I just heard from RitterKrieg that LFT16 will NOT contain any maps or overlays when purchased from North American Retailers. It seems the only way to get the map and overlays is through LFT direct (Already Purchased :) . Big shout-out to Derrick from RK coming up with a great solution to a disappointing problem.

I think Nicky's post provides the answer to your question.

Can they tho? The website says "LFT # 16 maps might be available"

Not sure what that means...
That could mean that LFT would not incur any legal issues if they sell "LFT #16" without maps in the US.
This post could mean that LFT might incur legal issues if they sell the maps either as part of "LFT #16" or the maps directly within the US.

In any case, personally I wonder why LFT made the decision to create their version of the MMP boards (not commenting on copyright here) in the first place.
The only reason I can imagine is to provide both a "Light Jungle" AND "Dense Jungle" version on a single board - front- and backside.

Personally, I prefer the "original" MMP artwork to the new "LFT jungle style".
Furthermore, for me personally new boards would have been of greater attraction than a re-issue of existing boards (not commenting on copyright).

Newer boards as more and more come out....will have fewer and fewer scenarios to play them on....ALA WO releases...

Don't see an issue. Some will buy some won't

BUT the more important question....What will be the price of the US version of the "NON THIEVING" LFT magazine?
I ain't payin' the same price....

Ritter just posted the reduced price...
Maybe he got a call from Perry with a HAMMER slamming in the background.

Anyone in CAN selling it?

The Dense jungle should've had a bit of "aesthetic" in protruding into the next hex....but Computers....what can you do?....

Wondering if Ritter has already received them and will be pulling the maps out...
Maybe he can forward those on from LFT purchases....

Maps & overlays can be bought separately!
But apparently only if you have an account on the site, and the registration link is not working (tried 3 times since yesterday).

It would have been nice to have been informed of the lack of maps/overlays in this product prior to placing my order. The main selling point for me was the variable jungle maps. If a disclaimer had been posted informing the customers that this product would be scenarios and booklet/magazine only, I would not have bothered placing the order. I'm not going to waste any energy looking for whom to blame, since apparently I never was and never will receive the maps. I'm very disappointed that this situation is associated with my favorite ASL producer and my favorite ASL distributor.

What a fiasco!
