Yes he is.... Sorry....my bad.Maybe VonHutier is talking about AP83 Thai Hot?
I just heard from RitterKrieg that LFT16 will NOT contain any maps or overlays when purchased from North American Retailers. It seems the only way to get the map and overlays is through LFT direct (Already Purchased . Big shout-out to Derrick from RK coming up with a great solution to a disappointing problem.
I think Nicky's post provides the answer to your question.Did LFT get permission to use MMP maps as the base for their enhanced versions?
Can they tho? The website says "LFT # 16 maps might be available"Maps & overlays can be bought separately!
That could mean that LFT would not incur any legal issues if they sell "LFT #16" without maps in the US.Can they tho? The website says "LFT # 16 maps might be available"
Not sure what that means...
Wondering if Ritter has already received them and will be pulling the maps out...That could mean that LFT would not incur any legal issues if they sell "LFT #16" without maps in the US.
This post could mean that LFT might incur legal issues if they sell the maps either as part of "LFT #16" or the maps directly within the US.
In any case, personally I wonder why LFT made the decision to create their version of the MMP boards (not commenting on copyright here) in the first place.
The only reason I can imagine is to provide both a "Light Jungle" AND "Dense Jungle" version on a single board - front- and backside.
Personally, I prefer the "original" MMP artwork to the new "LFT jungle style".
Furthermore, for me personally new boards would have been of greater attraction than a re-issue of existing boards (not commenting on copyright).

But apparently only if you have an account on the site, and the registration link is not working (tried 3 times since yesterday).LFT # 16 Maps only - Le Franc Tireur
FREE SHIPPING TO THE USA For our *US customers only*, the twelve LFT # 16 maps might be available directly from us, with their accompanying 7 sheets of overlays. Ownership of the ASL game system is required, and these maps are intended to allow people to play all the PTO themed scenarios...lefranctireur.org

It would have been nice to have been informed of the lack of maps/overlays in this product prior to placing my order. The main selling point for me was the variable jungle maps. If a disclaimer had been posted informing the customers that this product would be scenarios and booklet/magazine only, I would not have bothered placing the order. I'm not going to waste any energy looking for whom to blame, since apparently I never was and never will receive the maps. I'm very disappointed that this situation is associated with my favorite ASL producer and my favorite ASL distributor.I just heard from RitterKrieg that LFT16 will NOT contain any maps or overlays when purchased from North American Retailers.
