I really like this feature as well :)

I've found that a hotness less than about 0.5 doesn't really mean anything, it needs to be higher than that for there to have been a noticeable difference in what the dicebot was giving you.

Also, hotness isn't calculated just from the really low/high rolls.
  • If you roll nothing but 7's the entire game, the hotness score will be 0.
  • If you roll more 6's than expected, it goes up by a bit.
  • If you roll more 5's than expected, it goes up by a bit more than that.
  • ...etc...
  • If you roll more 2's than expected, it goes up a by a lot.
And the same idea applies for 8-12's, except your hotness score goes down.
