I was just reading through the version 2 rules last night and noticed something strange.

I don't have the rules #, but it is in the chapter A movement rules talking about double time and says something like
"A leader who declares CX (and all the MMC stacked with him) has 8 MF"

This seems to fairly clearly state that if the leader double times, the squads get 8MF without having to go CX! That's not correct is it????

The starter kit has an excellent chart for the double time movement and combinations for SMC and MMC. This is one example of the SK standing out as an improvement over my lowly ALRBv1. :)

Actually, the ASLRB v2 has such a MF/PP chart too. Its on the chapter divider with the IIFT. Or, for them who never use that, reverse side of the divider with the Overrun Flowchart.

Someone has mentioned this before to me, and after looking up the text, I agreed that it could have been written more clearly (do we have any english majors?):

"A Double Timing leader (and any units accompanying him) have eight MF"

But the chart does clarify any misinterpretations that may have been drawn from the wording.
