Leader who moved...and Squad marked Opportunity Fire

I squad is marked Opp Fire during PFPh. A leader moves into their Location during MPh.

Can the leader direct that Opp Fire shot in AFPh?

No doubt that he can direct the first shot. A follow-on question can he direct/modify a ROF shot? Without a rules dive, I suspect he can, but it does seem to be a reasonable question to ask......as a unit shooting in AdvFPh without the benefit of opp-fire cannot shoot ROF.

With the errata to A7.531 I think he can - before the errata I am less sure.

Last sentence now says:
"...A Leader directing fire is marked with an appropriate Fire counter. "

Used to say:
"...A Leader directing fire is treated as if he were firing."

The former "treated as if he were firing" I don't allowed directing ROF shots. Though this text had other issues.
