Downloaded and installed the trial version but see no way to purchase the license. I am a pro user and the ship pack installed without a prompt of any kind to purchase the license.

Where are the "starter scenarios" mentioned on the web site page? All I have is on demo scenario with American ships sitting still blasting a German freighter? Is that It? If it is I'm dissapointed......I expected a little more.

There in there but mine were disabled until I bought the license...spendy but well worth it so far

We put in a scenario that shows 1 of each class of US ship in the ship pack, so you can see what they look like, how many of each there are, and what they're stats are. It's to help you decide if you want to buy the pack or not.

When you buy the pack, you get several other scenarios. These are:

1. Channel Dash: German BCs attempt to break out into the Atlantic via the Channel, through all the patrol stuff there and finally some US BBs and DDs at the far end.

2. Daggers Drawn: A night attack by German DDs on a cross-Channel convoy escorted by US DDs.

3. Lindesnes: A full-blown fleet action off SW Norway with US BBs in the Grand Fleet.

4. The Bergen Run: US BBs escort a convoy to Norway, intercepted by German BCs.

I see that in 1067, it's now possible to play all the US scenarios for 10 minutes before purchasing the ship pack. So forget what I said above about only getting to see the ships at anchor.

Upon launching my Jutland Pro an update came in. Then I found out about the new ship pack. Do I now need to download the whole game file or can I just purchase the new licence to activate ship pack 1 that came with the 1068 update file? If so, how would I do that?

The ship pack is part of the 75meg patch, which is 1066 IIRC. So if you've got 1066 or later, the US ships are sitting there on your HD if you want them.

I'm not sure how you tell the game you want to buy them--I had to sacrifice my test retail build last week to test something else, so I've never done that. Hopefully, somebody who's already done it can tell you that part.

However, once you do buy it and get the new license number for it, hit the ? "About" button. That screen now has 2 buttons on the bottom. Hit the left one to enter the new license number and you've got it.

Do the campaigns play out any differently with the expansion? I'd love to see a campaign where smaller fleets are out raiding/patrolling, etc.. so that the battles are more managable when they occur, and not so decisive.
