This series was made in 1951 by time, to me it rivals any war documentary ever, and i found it by accident most of the footage is never before seen (at least by me) the series covers the Pacific war from start to finish.....highly recommended for scenario research

I've had this on DVD now for many years, (since 2012). It is a good series and there is a lot of review from one episode to the next. What strikes me is how much of its stock wartime footage is re-used in so many later-produced documentary series.
