Rumours are all you'd get here, I believe. Some ugly ones.

I am helping on the J8 play test and believe that many of the scenarios are *done*, though I don't know where the magazine stands as a whole. But my guess is that it won't be too much longer.

Oh, stop lying :devious:.
What? I heard that none of the scenarios have second level buildings and that the Journal will be printed on paper that, when it comes into contact with ASL modules and material, actually sets off a chemical reaction that starts them on fire.

I know that a SASL campaign was submitted to ASL Journal 8 according to Consimworld forum.

You know where you are?? You're in the jungle baby!!

They have my Suicide Creek mini-HASL in hand and there was some interest in putting that in J8.

"I heard it would be in there"

Apparenty not, according to Pitman. :)

"please provide some more detail on this."

1st Marine Division at Cape Gloucester on New Britain during the first week of '44. Nasty fight as the Marines hit a muddy creek that was heavily fortified and it took 2+ days to get across. Guys getting shot out of bulldozers, Japanese counterattacks, Marines slogging across the muddy creek against HIP Japanese. I submitted 6 scenarios and a CG. We've enjoyed it.

Rotterdam was mentioned in 2005 as being slated for Journal #8. Obviously, that could change if it was not finished in time but something else was.

I would venture a guess that the Rotterdam mini-HASL would get bumped a year-- since a number of other planned articles/scenario groups have been already. The dreamer in me sees a few more scenarios for existing HASL's in J8. Time will tell...
