Hi all,
About to play J108 Danica Air.
SSR4 speaks of Ammo Supply counters: am I right not to identify them with Ammo Dumps (E10.6)?

Well, I was having a doubt.
An Ammo dump can explode like a Goliath, so it would change things.

If your doing it on VASL get a blank counter write ammo dump on it and your off
cause it's only a marker to say where it is - right ?
even a labled overlay would do if it doesn't move.,

Sure, if it blows up it will have an impact
LOTS and LOTS of rubble counters lol

?

My point is that Ammo Supply may be different from Ammo Dump.

But on VASL now and the Ammo counters pictured in the scenario are under counters > Unit > Fire > Ammo

I have the counters.
My question remains : can an Ammo Supply explode like an Ammo Dump or not?
The SSR already explains that the Ammo Supplies cannot be moved but can be possessed as SW.
It can change things a lot : my Croatians would not set up in or adjacent to the Ammo Supply if they could explode, and the Partisans could try to fire at the Ammo Supply to destroy them.
But the SSR explaining that a unit can possess the like SW makes little sense if the Ammo Supply could explode...

SSR 4 (3 in the re-issues version):
"They may not move, but are possessed/eliminated as if a SW."

Doesn't look like they can explode.

Thanks Klas.
I had written a note in that sense on my scenario card in 2008, when I played it the first time, but I had a lingering doubt.

Ok Robin
I completely misunderstood your first question then
I thought that you meant how to identify them as ""Counters"" in a given game.
Rather than how to play them in the game. So sorry mate for any confusion

As Klaus has said, Just by reading the scenario card they are eliminated as if a SW. So No mate, no big boom - a fizzle more than a pop per se
