And that site is no more active than this site. There are a few posts over there begging for SES response and even on their own site they seem somewhat out of the loop.

Did anybody really expect things to improve when they moved to their own forum?

I have to chuckle a little...as soon as I posted this, someone unnamed went on a posting "spree" at the SES site.

I tried to login to the SES forum today and it looks rather like the domain has been sold. Stormpowered still works but will not go 'online' due to not being able to contact the server - luckily I had all my DG games set to 'offlne capable' so no problems running the games. There wasn't much activity there but there was some. IF this isn't a temporary glitch I expect some peeps will turn up or return here soon.

Yeah, noticed the site is down. Didn't realize Stormpowered was down also.

I expect the email any day now from SES that disables the DRM so no contaact with the server is needed.

That joke just made my day :)

But fear not, I got it all figured out. I now know why SES has been behaving this strangely all along.

I am actually a little screwed. I just got a new laptop and about to transfer Jutland and DG over to it. I don't think I will be able to until the SP server is back up.

Not sure what to do other than keep my old laptop handy.

Time to look for a pirated version. (to use your legal copy)

I am sure they forgot to renew their domain. It has happened to SES before.

Too bad, the six or so customers they had left can't be very happy.

I am just PO'ed that games I invested over$150 in won't operate on anything but my back up laptop.

Have you ever seen a DRM story with a happy ending?

Hmmm...I started both DG and Jutland just now and both started fine and Stormpowered downloaded an update for each game.

Also read this on the Storm Eagle Studies website:

Yeah, I was finally able to move my games. I don't understand what would have been so hard about announcing the site and server being down for a couple days.

It's too bad they won't put their own games on sale like that. I've been waiting for 2 years now to buy DG at a reasonable price.
