HongKongWargamer made me aware of this site. I am a long time wargamer, but only recently getting into ASL.
I bought the SK#1 years ago but made little headway in understanding it. After a few moves and about a decade later, I found the SK#1 in a long-forgotten box. Curiosity led me to take a stab at the reading rules again and this time I could see the genius.
I have the paperback RB ordered (so that I feel legitimate, hahah!) and in the meantime I am familiarizing myself with VASL. I also saw the Tabletop Simulator modules and that looks promising as well.
I hope to make some friends to play with, and I am glad to be getting into this community and the game.
