ITR Errata:

Add to ITR 2.0:
Any building with a Factory Interior Wall (O5.3) on more than one hexside is also a Factory.

ITR3: Tough as Nails
- Buildings 51U3 and 51O2 are Factories.

ITR4: Clash at Ponryi
- Replace ISU-152s with SU-152s.

ITR6: The Ceramic Factory
- Replace Russian 9-0 leader with a 9-1 leader.

ITR7: Rebounded Spirit

- Hungarian setup: Set up on board 1 in hexes numbered < 4 and/or board BFP A.

ITR Q & A

Q: Is building U2 on board BFP B considered a factory?
A: Yes. Refer to errata above for ITR 2.0.

Q: Are Factory rules for non-BFP A/B boards automatically in effect?
A: No. Buildings on other boards are Factories only by special rule.

Q: Are the Factories in ITR-4 Clash at Ponyri affected by SSR 2?
A: Yes. All building (inclduing factories) are considered wooden and single-story, and the factories still have the thick interior walls and vehicular entrances as indicated by the map.

Into the Rubble product note - ITR-8: Ceramic Factory

This question came up recently about the OT-34/85 tank that is used in ITR-8: Ceramic Factory:

The Russian OB for scenario ITR-8 includes an OT-34/85. I don't see this anywhere in the standard ASL counter mix, nor can I find it in Chapter H. Now, it's pretty easy to guess how it works by extrapolating from the OT-34 and using the stats pictured on the scenario card, but I'm curious: where does this beast come from?

Here is the answer:

The OT-34/85 first appeared in HOB's Onslaught to Orsha, which is no longer available.

Here is the info from the actual OT 34/85 counter:

front side:

MA: 85L ROF[1]
11 frontal af
box 6 side armor
normal size
-/4 bmg/cmg
16 mp fully tracked
normal GP
fast turret
BF32 x11

back side:

CS 5
sD6*
APCR 3(4)/4(5)
AP 8

Woooooossssssh!

The OT-34/85 is a highly effective late war toy for the Soviets. It you haven't tried a scenario with one, you should.

Hi Sam or Chas S.,

Getting ready to play ITR-4 Clash at Ponyri this weekend.

Forgive me if I missed it, but I have a question about SSR2 last sentence:

"All buildings are single story and wooden."

Is this SSR intended to include the factories on BFP-B (and, if so, what happens to the Factory Interior Walls and Vehicular Entrances...?)

Thanks!

Not the factories.

JT
James,
So the factories are potentially higher than single story in this one? ALso, they retain their wooden or stone characteristics per the normal rules? Thanks.

Sorry for any confusion I caused...

The factories are indeed single-story and wooden, but that has no effect on their vehicle sized entrances or interior walls. They both still exist.

At least... that is how we played it.

I'm neither Chas nor Sam, but IMO, "all buildings" includes Factories. If the SSR didn't intend that, it should be reworded accordingly.

However, there's nothing to prevent a Factory from being wooden and single-story and still possess interior walls and vehicular entrances.

That is the correct interpretation. I recently verified this with Chas.

The Factories in ITR-4 Clash at Ponyri are considered wooden and single-story, and still possess interior walls and vehicular entrances as indicated by the map.
