I find it interesting reading some of the various posts that there seems to be a general trend toward wanting to play Flying Turrets.

Its the biggest scenario in the pack, right? Just shows that the age of the monster scenario is not over yet.

Contrary to what our few detractors would have one believe. Flying Turrets is one of the most fun and intense scenarios ever designed. IMNSHO. But when you play it you'll see for yourself <G>

Come to WO a day early...I'll have a game room. :D

You're gonna need longer than a day I would think. Hell setting up would be a chore........

I like large scenarios. But that one just might be to the point of being too large. Seeing it at ASLOK was cool, but on the other hand it looked like a logistical nightmare.

I am not surprised that people want to play it. Where else can you get the feel of Kursk with 65 attacking tanks? Its sort of like the BRT CG. Where else in ASLdom can you do a complete invasion ASL style.

Peace

There are alot of interesting scenarios in this pack. One day, I'll plan a 4 player outing with "Flying Turrets" or one of the other large scenarios in the pack.

But I also am looking forward to a three play game of "Death Roamed Freely". (no vehicles, mostly infantry, 50+ squads)

There are five scenarios in this pack that take up two scenario cards. And there are another 3 or 4 that are large, but are crammed into one card.

Can you say "Meaty"?

9 out or 10 stars. The only thing missing is a CG.

Well if Dave and Olli make it up for the day in 11/11/11, and if CoS has arrived by then..."Flying Turrets" may be the order of the day...and if we get too drunk it may become Flying Tourettes.

So ANY reports from the Pz Regt Rothenburg?

YOU AIN'T MAN ENUF unless you've PLAYED THAT......
For a not so obvious reason, this was my personal favorite scenario from the pack....oh, and it was also a hoot to playtest...twice. :)

FT is definitely on my bucket list.

Just like Clash Along the Psel was back in the day. It took almost as long putting all those overlays on the map boards as it was to play. I ruined my first desert boards that were used in Psel by leaving the overlays on for over a year. The tacky that I used to for the overlays were oily and left stains all over the boards.

After avoiding Clash for years we finally got around to playing it. It plays quickly and cleanly and is a hoot!
