Install Problem - HELP!

OK, I just got my copy of DA in the mail. Loaded it up. When I tried to play it I get an error that says "Component COMDLG32.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or valid"

Has anyone ever seen this before? Is there a patch or something I dont know about? Or am I just the lucky one that got a game made on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend?

directory missing

I have a new computer with XPMedia edition on it. The winnt\system 32 directory for the OCX patch does not exist, nor do any of the OCX files. Do I have to create the directory in order to install the patch? I really enjoy this game but the difficulties of getting it loaded are frustrating. Thankz- Zetar

The files go in the C:\Windows\System32 directory on all XP machines, which Media Center is one.


Also make sure and create the \aar sub-directory after applying the patch and before play. Otherwise you'll get a "path not found" error during execution.
