I recently received Inor and again appreciate such a fine looking product from our LFT friends. I have never played a CG before because of night and I generally don't want to be committed to the same thing for a long time. That said, I am intrigued by Inor CG1 and its relative shortness: Just three CG dates and NO NIGHT. A couple questions:

  • Three CG dates means you play three variable-length scenarios right?
  • In playtesting, did CG1 balance out pretty well? For me, being on either side of an unbalanced affair isn't much fun.
  • Anything else I should know about CG1?
Thanks!

Hi Houlie,

  • Three CG dates means you play three variable-length scenarios right?
Right, you will play a maximum of 3 scenarios.
  • In playtesting, did CG1 balance out pretty well? For me, being on either side of an unbalanced affair isn't much fun.
Difficult to say that the balance is 50/50 with a CG but yes both sides may win.
  • Anything else I should know about CG1?
The map is large and the Germans don't have the strength to attack everywhere. But when a breakthrough is done the French will have difficulties to block it. So keep some forces in reserve. Buying some transports may help both sides to get some mobility (it is the first time in a CG that I bought wagons !).
