Recently retired to Rome, Italy. Immediately began catching up on history reading which launched me back into an interest in tactical gaming. Tried and honestly enjoyed CoH, LHY, Panzer, OST and greatly appreciate the effort and intent of the designers. But my tragic and voracious appetite to consume rulebooks inevitably led me back to ASL. So now here I am with used copies of the modules and having recently stumbled through VASL installation on my MacBook. Big Al sent me. Thanks Al
I had Squad Leader as an eleven year old but it took until I was 13 after various readings to finally understand any of it. I bought ASL and Beyond Valor when they came out but left them at home when I joined the Army, never played. So here I am back after all these years and I love it.
