I generally read posts by clicking "New Posts".

However, there's lots of stuff that keeps coming up (spam mostly) that I don't want to read.

How do I stop calling up these forums/topics when I click "New Posts".

I am not watching any forums, so not sure if this is a legacy issue?

I'd be interested in finding out how to do this as well if it is possible.

"New Posts" covers all of Game Squad. The ASL Forum is a watched Forum for me, just so I can get to it faster. If I see a lot of non-ASL in the new posts, I go one of those posts' forums (e.g., Politics & Religion) and do "Mark Forums Read". That will clear up New Posts for one visit. I use the "watch" method on many threads so I can follow things of interest to me by clicking on "Watched Threads".
