How to play ASL for total newbs!

I have produced a playthrough of an entire, simple scenario where I explain everything. The idea is that people new to ASL will have a pretty good understanding of the game when it is finished:

Brilliant. I was actually expecting the Germans to pull that one out with a 'Mopping Up' attempt.

Good thinking but as this was aimed at beginners, I thought stick to about 500 rules for the first game!

Just thought I'd chime in to say I played this last night to bring in the new year - first game of Full ASL. Very enjoyable, went down to the penultimate roll.

He needs to change the date. Normally, there is no grain in effect in February.

I just assumed it was winter wheat by SSR.

Yes - there's an SSR that explains that grain's in effect.

Just an FYI for the Sunrise, Sunset scenario. From the historical note at top it seems the date should be Dec 41 instead of 42 (Russian counterattack at Moscow??).

They all look like a lot of fun. Kudos to Sergeant Barker.
