How many counters in a full ASL kit?

How many counters do you suppose there are in a full ASL kit? That's all the core modules, the journals, historical modules but no 3rd party stuff.

People ask me this sometimes, but I really don't have a clue. My wild guess would be about 10.000-12.000?

Not enough I say... Need more to fight the bloody fights of Stalingrad, Kursk, Hedgerows and the Bulge....

Now as for the desert, more than enough for those who have the v.1 the desert module.

Okay, in the AH/MMP modules, annuals, journals, etc., not counting the 2nd editions, I have 16,943 counters. (ex. SASL 2nd, not 1st as it had more counters)

With all the editions we have 22,862 counters. I have developed this data, because I used it to verify the Armory files. :nuts:

Good accounting of different modules, but you forgot the General 28-6 issue with the replacement counters for the messed up ones in one of the earlier AH modules....

Close, HP must be #1 for Finns are the best, but I am very very interested in Korea and all those glorious new counters and boards that are sure to come with it

Yup got them too and forgot them which is funny since I was holding the punched sheet in my hand at one point while typing that mess out.

23 Plano 3701's with space left for more counters in most of them. If anyone wants my org chart for them IM me and I can e mail it, it is in Word @ 342 KB in size- attached is a PDF version which made it small enough to upload here.

Note- I am red/green and blue/green color blind so the org caters to this handicap - guns by county not size for example.

16,943 counters times 15 seconds per counter to clip a 3 pixel-sized corner off each and make sure the sides are neat equals 254,145 seconds or 70 hours, 35 minutes and 45 seconds of life spent in a dogged and somewhat Quixotic pursuit of counter perfection. Clearly the baseball playoffs need to be extended if we are all to be finished and entertained while we do it.

How many counters on one counter sheet?

Assuming half are 5/8" and half are 1/2".
