I don't think many people expected it, but Seattle Seahawks played an inspired game and beat New Orleans. (Last year's super bowl champs).

Way to go!

Will lightning strike again next week?

Sam, you forgot to mention Seattle's losing regular season record and the fact that few thought the team should be in the playoffs. Very inspired game, Seattle!

Play every game, the whole game; you never know what will happen.

Back to being the aints. This game confirmed what I thought last year. The Vikings at 5 different points should have won that NFC game and then without the onside kick at half-time Manning would have taken the bowl.

The worst team in NFL playoff history (7-9 divisional winner) beat the former Super Bowl champs? That's historic...

If they beat the Bears next week thee might get legit.

So, the Cleveland Browns beat those same champs, too.

Looks lile they 'played down' quite a bit.,

Seattle did have a winning record at home (5-3), but were awful on the road (2-6). So, as little credit as I give the Bears, I don't think Seattle wins next week.

Boy, would I love to be wrong.

Well, Seattle went to Chicago and won on Oct 17. They could do it again.

Sam
They could. OTOH, on 10/17 Mike Martz had not yet realized the strengths and weaknesses of his offense and adjusted, he was still trying to do things that his personnel were completely unsuited to. He eventually figured out how to work with what he has. I could be wrong, but I like the Bears by 14. And I hate the Bears.
