With just over a week to go until we Hit the Beach 2, a quick SITREP (Situation Report);
- Mike Red-Nan White map, secured
- Nan White-Nan Red map, secured
- Plexiglass to cover the maps, secured
- Prototype 5/8" counters, secured
- Prototype 1/2" counters, secure
- Tables, chairs, side tables, secured
- Event T-Shirts, secured
- Bloody Victory Rules Set, 95% complete
- Into the Fire Rules Set, 95% complete
- Venue, secured
- Participants, 6 confirmed for entire weekend, and addition 2 for part of the weekend
- Verification from participant: Are you bringing the following counters?
- Information counters (Prep Fire, Def Fire, DM, etc.)
- Fortification counters (pillboxes, trenches, wire, etc.)
- German Infantry Counters (MMC, SMC, SW, etc.)
- German Ordnance (A-T Guns, Mortars, etc.)
- British Infantry Counters (MMC, SMC, SW, etc.)
- British Vehicle Counters (Lend-Lease as well as Funnies)
- Landing Craft Counters (LCA, LCT(4))
- Rulebook, IFT/IIFT charts, dice, tower, cup, etc.
I know I have sent of the View from the Trenches, Beach Landing, and with it was a Landing Craft Damage Flow chart; I did come across an updated version of it (sorry Darren), which I am attaching with this email.
!!! VERY IMPORTANT POINT !!! Counters, counters, & counters, each beach (of which require there a 4) will require 2 of British Counters and at least one set of German, information, and fortification counters- so please bring yours; the worst case we don't need them and had to lug them to the event. Strict counter control will be adhered to - you will get back what you brought.
Sides will be determined on Friday.
